Wood Kiln Opening

Join us at noon on Saturday as Mike Carroll, owner of Studio Sales Pottery, unveils the treasures within the wood kiln fired the week prior. Learn about the process and watch as potters reveal their magnificent creations.

Pottery Demonstrations

Observe our talented artists as they demonstrate various pottery techniques unique to each of their practices. Demos may include, wheel throwing, slab building, surface alteration, handle making and more! Feel free to ask questions and learn new skills to bring back to your own studio. Pottery Raffle

Enter our pottery raffle for a chance to win a stunning piece donated by our participating artists. Winners will be drawn on Sunday and contacted to arrange pick-up. All proceeds help fund next year's festival.

Glaze Your Own Raku Pot

Try your hand at Raku, a fast-firing pottery technique, and take home your very own creation. For just $20-25, you can glaze a pot, observe the firing process, and bring home a unique, decorative piece.

Young Mudslingers Competition

This year the 3rd annual Young Mudslingers event will be taking place! The event involves local high school students joining together in friendly competitions. The winning district will bring a brand new Shimpo VL Lite potter’s wheel back to their school! This event will run on Saturday from 10:15am- 2:00pm with a break from Noon-1. Winners will be announced after the final competition has concluded.
